Welcome!

Trans Europe Halles (TEH) is a European Network of Independent Cultural Centres that connects pioneering cultural actors of Moscow, Budapest and Belgrade with creative forces in Amsterdam, Helsinki and Berlin – to mention a few.
The network currently has 47 members and 9 Friend organisations in 26 European countries.

Founded in 1983, the network now brings together about fifty multidisciplinary and socially engaged member centres throughout Europe. Most centres are located in buildings from industrial heritage and have taken important action in challenging the established cultural policy.

CHANGING ROOM TOOLKIT NOW ONLINE

Join the community of cultural operators across Europe

As part of the
CHANGING ROOM pilot project we now proudly present an online resource to support the mobility of cultural operators.

The Toolkit offers first hand information about working in independent across Europe, international job offers, exchange opportunities and matchmaking between individuals and organisations.

It doesn't matter in which field you work, if you are a volunteer or a managing director, a curator or a technician. Take a moment to check what the Toolkit can do for you. Two of the three tools are open to everyone. The MatchMaker is currently being tested by Trans Europe Halles only, but in the future other organisations and networks can get their own version.
Welcome to the CHANGING ROOM TOOLKIT!
