Personal and group leadership workshop in Rijeka

At Trans Europe Halles, we are sure that leadership starts with yourself. Listening to your inner-self is crucial to being a good leader. Listening to others is even more important. We learn from our differences. They bring a broader vision and build deeper trust among people.

This workshop is a meeting point for like-minded leaders from the cultural sector. Together we will explore old themes through a new lens. The training won’t focus on the management side of leadership. Instead, it puts emphasis on the personality of a leader and its potential to inspire others.

Arts and cultural professionals willing to develop their leadership skills.
Leaders who believe that empathy and courage are essential in dealing with others.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  2. Better understand your reactive patterns and prejudices
  3. To synchronise your body’s energy with your thoughts
  4. To deal with the paradox and tension between the opposites
  5. To stay creative and confident even under pressure
  6. To voice your opinion with power, clarity and without aggression
  7. To recover balance in the face of doubts and external challenges

HOW YOU WILL LEARN

Each day has a pattern and consists of two sessions.
Wellbeing, presence and reflection are the core elements that frame daily experience.

  • Accommodation at Fužinarska Lodge for 5 nights

Who will guide you in your learning journey

Chrissie Poulter

Theatre maker, director, writer and teacher, Chrissie lives in Ireland and Yorkshire. She has been lecturing in theatre at Trinity College Dublin since 1990 as well as doing creative projects throughout the island and abroad. She specialises in using theatre as a way for people to engage with each other, through creative communication workshops and mentoring/coaching work with individuals and groups. Guardianship in group work is her particular passion.

Jasenka Gojšić

Jasenka Gojšić helps people to take their dream seriously, to (re)design their lives and transform their roles bravely and timely, and to form organizations that serve the development of the highest potential of all people in an organization’s field. She has been proactively engaged in Art of hosting community from 2010, and transformational learning community from 2013.

 

Michel Quéré

Besides being the Capacity Building Director for Trans Europe Halles, Michel is a professional coach and strategic consultant for creative projects, with rich intercultural background and expertise in professional networking. He is affiliated to the International Coaching Federation, certified facilitator for Point of Value and trained to enhance the collective intelligence of groups of people.
