Bitamine Faktoria
Cross-border cultural production and creation factory
Bitamine Faktoria in Irun, Spain is a cross-border cultural production and creation factory dedicated to the promotion and internationalisation of culture, design and contemporary art. Founded in 2011 by the Artitadetó Artists Association, they work hard to develop interdisciplinary projects of an innovative, creative and experimental nature.
Bitamine Faktoria consists of a diverse group of artists and designers who come together to propose interventions and actions, site-specific projects and installations, preferably in the public space, challenging the audience through irony and self-criticism. They also lead cultural projects through all stages and phases from ideation to management and final implementation. They believe that cooperation and collaboration are vital – both for the projects and the people involved in them – as it gives them agency.
What makes the organisation unique?
An approach halfway between artistic processes and cultural management, with a high impact on the community.
