Ifö Center

Ifö Center is a relatively new cultural and creative space based in Bromölla in Northern Sweden. It is located in the building of an old ceramic factory and serves as a platform for projects and collaborations. The centre runs collective studios for artists, organises art and craft workshops, hosts residency programmes and promotes research in the art field.

The main objective of the project is to turn the industrial and previously abandoned area of the city into a vibrant culturally driven neighbourhood. Currently, they have been working hard transforming the facade of the factory into an outdoor street art gallery. In addition, they organise tours around the factory to promote ceramics as an art form and inform visitors about the history of the neighbourhood.

Exhibitions, performances, artistic residencies, artistic production, workshops, conferences, lectures, community projects.
Former use of the building: A ceramic factory
