Monteleone Sabino, Italy

OZU is a residential cultural and arts centre, located in a former candy factory in the heart of the Sabine hills, in the centre of Italy. Women and men from various artistic disciplines live at OZU, producing and promoting a wide range of diverse cultural projects. OZU is a laboratory for production, encounter, collaboration and a place of exchange, comprised of 1,250 square metres for creative freedom in which to develop new and innovative cultural programmes and activities. This aligns with our general objectives: to facilitate access and participation in culture and the arts for the people who live here, near, yet too far from the capital as well as to improve the knowledge of artistic languages and to open up horizons and awareness to the arts and a world outside the local community.

Visual art/exhibitions, film screenings, programmes for supporting emerging artists, media, festivals, live music, community projects, artists in residency, educational programmes, theatre performances, dance performances, food events, olive picking
