Moving in, Moving on: TEH Startup Support Programme Publication #2 featuring Anibar in Peja

TEH Startup Support Programme provides strategic consultancy and training for selected emerging non-governmental cultural centres. The beneficiary region in 2017-2018 was the Balkans. Three centres from the region participated in the programme.

Please, download here the startup programme publication featuring Anibar.

Anibar started as an initiative that organised the first and only animation festival in Kosovo – Anibar International Animation Festival. In 2016, Anibar secured a venue – an old cinema theatre – that was given to the organisation by the Peja’s municipality. At the moment, the organisation is still in transition transforming from an organisation that holds an annual festival into a cultural centre with the engaging daily programme.

You can find here our report on Anibar written by TEH advisor Chris Keulemans. It provides deeper insights into the development of the organisation, its current challenges and future ambitions.

As a part of the TEH Startup Support Programme, Chris Keulemans held a three-day workshop with the Anibar’s team to help them transform into a cultural centre. You can find the workshop report here.

If you are interested to learn more about the benefits of the programme and the impressions of the participants, check out Anibar’s evaluation report.

The Startup Support Programme is part of the project Factories of Imagination, which is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
