Cooltour cultural centre (established in 2011) is a place you can visit to see a performance or come to a party. You can come here to work in a non-formal co-working bar-café. You can participate in different workshops and it’s also a place where you can seek support for your projects.
As well as producing artistic experiences of various kind (theatre, music, dance), the centre also organises many projects that help the city of Ostrava in the Czech Republic – including Experience Ostrava differently, USE-IT Ostrava, Pianos in the city, Adopt a flower pot, Urban interventions, International day of dance, City in motion, Cinema Royal and many more.
What makes your organisation unique?
They are a standard cultural organisation, but part of their work is based on city-development activities that are reacting to problems occurring locally. They are good at developing community projects that help.
