Healing Heritage – phytoremediation at Fengersfors paper mill

In this cross-sectorial research project, artists and scientists work together on the theme of contaminated soil and public space. 

The project includes testing of phytoremediation plants, as well as a wider survey of the relationship between industry, history, landscape and environment.

A first garden with phytoremediation plants has been created at the paper mill area, as well as an art walk out in the formerly unaccessible wasteland areas near the factory.
