Rural Radicals: policies & practices
TEH membership exists of 10% non-urban members. Who are they and what impact are they making in their rural environments? It seems that the rural areas are being recognized now as spaces with much potential and necessity for the sustainable growth of Europe. What policies are being developed now, and how do they impact the local actors? In this session we will learn about the rural policies in place from 3 countries presented by 3 members with first hand knowledge from the field.
The session will be opened with a keynote by Filippo Tantillo who will provide a past-presence -future narrative historical rural policies and practices.
This is followed up by a focus on three TEH members: EIXO (Portugal), Maltfabrikken (Denmark) and Lo Stato dei Luoghi (Italy).
