Liene Jurgelane

Facilitator, cultural practitioner, mentor, and social anthropologist. Focuses her practice on exploring the relationships between community, leadership, culture, well-being, and environment. Creates and holds learning and ritual spaces that invite people to (re)connect with themselves and others and practice living in more life-enhancing ways. She has almost 15 years of experience as a facilitator and has worked with artists, activists, cultural collectives and institutions across Europe. Liene is also one of the co-founders of the educational collective new visions, based in Berlin. Prior to new visions, she was part of the team running Kanepes Culture Centre, worked with performing arts, and co-organised festival Komēta. She lives in Aarhus since 2021, continuing work with new visions, developing Willow House – a learning hub for ecological awareness, mentoring women in culture, and supporting the development of Institut for (X) as a working strategist.
