As our next Managing Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of TEH. You’ll lead our TEH Coordination Office headquartered in Lund (Southern Sweden), oversee strategic development and ensure that our network continues to thrive. From advocacy and fundraising to team leadership and community engagement, this is a chance to make a lasting impact.

About Trans Europe Halles

Trans Europe Halles is a member-based organisation, a network of 160+ independent cultural and creative spaces in 40+ countries across Europe and beyond. For over 40 years, we have been supporting cultural centres founded by communities and artists in repurposed buildings: turning former factories, warehouses, and industrial sites into thriving hubs for creativity and social change. TEH provides capacity-building programs, advocacy, funding opportunities and knowledge exchange to empower cultural organisations and strengthen the independent cultural sector.

What we’re looking for

We need a visionary, community-driven leader who understands the complexities of running a European cultural network. You should be experienced in strategic management, fundraising and advocacy, and have a strong commitment to supporting independent cultural spaces. If you’re skilled in leading teams, navigating organisational change and building partnerships across sectors, this could be your next challenge.
