The community of the MANYI - Cultural workspace is not related to social level, age, gender and political or personal beliefs. The centre is open for everyone. The project was founded in 2020 by young artists in Budapest. The group is concerned with the relationship between artistic communities and other communities in society with different functions, and its social impact. It also explores the possible relations between the performing and visual arts and society.
MANYI - the young performers, creators, artists, art theorists and art lovers - support emerging artists, both in the performing arts and the visual arts. The collective believes in the power of creativity to shape society beyond individual artistic work. They organise themselves in the spirit of a creative community that sees art as a meeting point where the receiver and the creator can engage in dialogue.
The spirit of the community allows to present the arts in the widest possible variety of forms. In addition to the diversity of cultural events, they also place a strong emphasis on social events. The MANYI House is the hub of these events, whether it be an exhibition, concert, theatre, play sessions, dance, fundraising, film club, slam, fair or any unlabelled special occasion. The aim is to bring the recipient closer to the creator through the creation and to give communities the possible inspiration to mobilise their own resources to face and solve their problems.

What makes the organisation unique?
MANYI offers not only art events, like concerts, exhibitions, performances, theatre and dance, but also diversed cultural programmes: mental and physical health workshops, culinary sessions, farmers' or artists' market, mixing the different events with its organisers as well, to create a unique experiment to everyone who appears in the building.
To create and active citizenship through culture consumption is MANYI's passion and strength.
