Within Cultural Transformation Movement (CTM), Brunnenpassage (project partner from Austria) and their local partners D/Arts are launching a new initiative called Peer*Learning*Group aimed at empowering Vienna-based artists and cultural practitioners in their artistic practices while initiating collective learning processes.

Monthly in-person meetings and online sessions in both German and English will offer diverse stimuli, skills and networking opportunities with local and international experts from the cultural sector.

The CTM Peer*Learning*Group developed by Brunnenpassage and D/Arts will focus on articulating individual needs and collaboratively engaging in a power-sharing process through the contributions of invited facilitators such as Yelvilaa Bodomo (music artist and vocalist with a D.I.Y. approach to art practice and career-building), Araba Johnston-Arthur (Brunnenpassage-based Cultural Transformation Movement Artist-of-Change), Ceyda Berk-Söderblom (senior project manager and researcher at Trans Europe Halles, curator, festival programmer and entrepreneur specializing in change management) and others.

This self-directed process within Peer*Learning*Group spans over the six months of January-May 2024 and is designed for artists and cultural workers affected by discrimination within the cultural sector. Cultural practitioners are invited for exchange of experiences, mutual support and acquainting themselves with new tools for navigating the field of art and cultural and enhancing their own artistic practices.
