It starts with a Kick-off Event

Preceding the official online kick-off meeting on 29th of January 2024, a symposium organised by LabEx ICCA and MU took place between the 13th and the 15th December 2023 at La Station - Gare des Mines in Paris.

The European Alter-Places Symposium wrapped up after two days of discussions, workshops, and performances focused on sustainable cultural practices. The event brought together key speakers, panels, research presentations, workshops, and performances.

Over the two days, attendees explored various topics such as the role of arts in envisioning sustainable futures, overcoming obstacles in implementing ecological practices, and the contribution of cultural places to sustainable cities.
